Hello World

My story begins in March 2014, the day I started a pre-employment training at Evozon. The training was about Object Oriented Programming in JavaScript. There I’ve met some amazing people, learned the beauty of JavaScript and started to understand how an IT job really looks like.

After 3 years of working in Evozon, I decided that it’s time to move on, time to change the working environment, so the hunt for a new workplace started. I encourage all my friends to do this: try and search for a better place that suits you, don’t stay where something is missing for you, don’t waste time in a company, if you see that you are not growing. This is how I arrived at Yopeso. I wanted to get into a nice community, where I know everyone and everyone knows me, and we can share our experience, have fun and also be as productive as possible while learning more and more stuff every day.

The most important advice I can give to every programmer in Cluj-Napoca is to search the community that suits you, go and work for the company that makes you happy. Of course, take care of your salary, go into a company that pays at least the average amount of money in the industry. But trust me, money is not enough to make you happy in the IT industry, it’s the people, the overall feeling, the positivism that you see every day at work, the smiles, the great coffee, great working experience.

This is me, and I am so proud of myself, because I managed to turn my passion for technology into a day by day dream job. I encourage everyone to do so. Cluj-Napoca has a huge IT potential, but we should take into consideration what workplace suits our needs the best.
